In its bid to convey a message that Iloilo Business Park is safe to the public amidst these trying times, Megaworld Iloilo Business Park unveiled a statue of Martin Delgado wearing a mask designed by an Ilonggo designer, Mr. Jeff Ticao to signify that the township is compliant to the safety measures mandated by the government.

Present at the afternoon event on Sept. 7, 2020, were Mr. Buford Tan, General Manager of Festive Walk Mall; Ms. Jennifer Ann P. Fong, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Iloilo Business Park; and Iloilo Mayor Jerry P. Trenas.

Also gracing the event were Mr. Reynaldo Orio, Estate Manager of Iloilo Business Park; Nico Velasquez, Marketing Communications Manager of Courtyard by Marriott; Ms. Natalie Lim, General Manager of Richmonde Hotel Iloilo; Dr. Felix Ray Villa, The Medical City Chief Executive Officer; and Mr. Allan Tan, Chief Operating Officer of Iloilo Convention Center.

The occasion also served as the formal launching of The Medical City Iloilo in Festive Walk Mall and the Festive Walk Mall Safety and Sanitation program.

IBP vice president for sales and marketing, Jennifer Palmares-Fong has this to say,

“We need the Ilonggos’ cooperation to follow and observe safety protocols to help the city recover from this pandemic. Iloilo has been enjoying an economic boom in the past years, and the only way for us to sustain that is to support our entrepreneurs and their businesses. There’s no need to fear going out and do what we want to do, as long as we continue to adhere to all the safety measures and educate others to help curb the spread of the virus in the city.
