- President Benigno S. Aquino III, through Proclamation No. 976, has elevated the status of Iloilo Business Park from an IT park to a mixed-use SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE, which highlights tourism as another primary component of the integrated urban township.
ILOILO ART FESTIVAL
The biggest 2-day convergence of artists, performers and art visionaries in the “ILOILO ART FESTIVAL” at Megaworld Boulevard in Iloilo Business Park on February 20-21
3-in-1 ACTIVE FUN
3-in-1 Active Fun, a combination of sports and entertainment event starting at 6AM with Kids Duathlon, Bike Criterium Race at 8AM and Family Elektro Night Run at 6:30PM.
OPENING OF THE FIRST MODEL UNIT OF ILOILO BUSINESS PARK
Megaworld – Iloilo Business Park opening of The Palladium showroom with formal ribbon-cutting and blessing of IBP offices in Richmonde Tower on March 28. With over 200 kids running around and hunting for eggs, the Great Easter Egg Hunt (April 5) was a SUCCESS! The event was made even more fun with a number of activities, games & prizes, and the most awaited magic show.
‘SOMETHING BIG IS ALMOST HERE IN ILOILO’ CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED
THE 2ND ILOILO BIKE FESTIVAL
Heavy rains did not deter nearly 10,000 bikers from taking part in the 20-kilometer Fun Ride that highlighted the 2nd Iloilo Bike Festival on May 2 at the Iloilo Business Park. Themed “Iloilo: On the Road to Bike-able Progress,” the weeklong festival featured various biking-related activities within the 72-hectare township project of Megaworld Corp.

Iloilo City, one of the most livable city in the Philippines is hosting the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2015 meetings on with the theme “Fostering APEC’s Infrastructure through Long-term Investment and Capital Market Development,” the meeting aims to solicit proposals and share best practices in boosting connectivity and mobility within and across member-economies, particularly through more active capital markets.

APEC MEETING CONTINUES AT ILOILO CONVENTION CENTER
CLEAN AIR BIKE RIDE
About 800 bikers from Panay and neighboring provinces supported the “The Clean Air Bike Ride” at the Iloilo Business Park in Megaworld, Mandurriao last October 10. Organized by the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP)-Iloilo Chapter, the bike ride is one of the activities of PCCP’s 18th mid-year convention with the theme, “Show you care about clean air.”
SPOOKY PAW-RADE
SPOOKY PAW-RADE is a Halloween-themed costume and dog appreciation day organized by Megaworld – Iloilo Business Park in partnership with Pack leader K9 Dog Traning and Jaro Dog Lovers. Set on October 24, in front of The Palladium Showroom in Richmonde Tower, the event ensures dog lovers and owners for an exciting treat.
ATENEO DE ILOILO’S BIKE-RIDE AND CRITERIUM
Iloilo Business Park (IBP) is constantly making a mark as the region’s most bike-friendly business township with Giro D’ Ateneo, a color bike ride event and criterium race organized by Ateneo de Iloilo-SMCS Alumni Association with a start and finish point in front of Richmonde Tower on October 25, 2015.

An Open House with a Twist: October 30, SPOOKTACULAR Trick or Treat – Iloilo Business Park’s Open House Event at the 7th Floor Function Room of Richmonde Hotel Iloilo. Free face painting, Magician show, cotton candy cart, balloon twisting, games and activity booths, an all-in-one Halloween Treat!
REINDEER PARK PROJECT, SMILE DAY PHILIPPINES
Marking another significant advocacy for Megaworld Corporation through its Corporation Social Responsibility (CSR) arm – the Megaworld Foundation in partnership with Operation Smile Philippines, ventured to launch “Smile Day Philippine,” a project that would raise funds to help children born with cleft lip on November 7, 2015. On the same day, five Megaworld townships all over the country including Iloilo Business Park simultaneously launched the Reindeer Park project in time for Christmas wherein each reindeer effigy will be painted with various designs by Megaworld stakeholders and BPO partners. Each reindeer will raise funds to sponsor the advocacy of Operation Smile Philippines in helping kids with cleft lip obtain free operation to make their lives better.
OPENING CHRISTMAS VILLAGE & ILOILO BUSINESS PARK SALES AND INFORMATION CENTER
Spectacular Fireworks display signalled the Opening of the Iloilo Business Park Sales and Information Center and the launching of the Iloilo Business Park’s First Christmas Village. Ilonggos and lifestyle enthusiasts were invited to experience the savoury food products offered at the Ginger bread house themed Christmas Village.
